First Degree Law Tuition
We offer a thorough and professional law tuition service at GCSE; A-level; Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. All of our law tutors derive from a cross section of the legal profession and legal academia. Our tutors have many years experience teaching law at various universities within the UK. Many of our tutors have also practiced law professionally and are experienced Solictors and Barristers. All our tutors possess an LLB (Hons) and also Postgraduate qualifications in law, those being MSc, PhD, LPC or BVC.

We cover Sheffield and South Yorkshire areas, Leeds and West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We can travel to you - if we do, we politely request that if you live above 15 miles away you book a minimum 2-hour session totalling £60.

We believe many students require further academic guidance and support in order to supplement conventional university learning methods. The nature of university learning is to encourage students to embark on research and learning for themselves. This is fine, but results in reduced contact with lecturing staff leading to minimal support, guidance and advice, a factor which is essential to ensure good learning progress. Lecturers are more often than not 'out of reach' and slow to respond to emails when help is required. This creates anxiety and confusion for many students.

By obtaining private law tuition, the student will be guided and given teaching support whenever necessary. This enables  a greater understanding of the law and subsequently any queries may be answered quickly and precisely.

Our Services

One to One Tuition
We provide law tuition on a one to one basis - or small groups (usually 5 max) to assist the student in subject areas that they may find problematic. We have many years experience teaching law to undergraduate students. Our tutors teach in a professional manner at all times and we appreciate certain students may take longer to grasp various aspects of a subject, therefore the pace of learning is governed by the student themselves.

Examination Support and Revision Techniques
A major factor as to why students attain low marks in law examinations is that there is a distinct lack of essential preparation. If the correct approach to examinations is adopted then then there is no reason why students may not attain an excellent mark and subsequent high rated pass. As with most subjects, the key to success is discipline, good preparation and revising in a methodical manner. Drawing on our teaching experience, we can provide guidance on how to approach law examinations  properly by utilising tried and tested revision and examination techniques in order to achieve complete success.

Legal Writing Techniques
Whether your academic level is GCSE, A-Level or Undergraduate level, the requirement for the law student to possess excellent legal writing skills is of paramount importance. If students are to pursue a career within the legal profession, it is essential that students perfect their legal writing skills from an early stage.

We can provide advice and guidance on how best to compile written coursework in an analytical and methodical format to the highest standard.

Proof Reading Service
We also offer a proof reading and advisory correction service relating to essays and coursework. We can advise the student of ways to improve their work allowing for the correction of any errors prior to submission.


Audio Lecture C D’s
Audio learning is an excellent method in which to learn and remember legal cases and facts! Learning by audio methods is how we remember the words of a favourite song. We hear the lyrics several times and subsequently remember these words without much effort at all. The same applies to learning law - or any subject using audio techniques.
The benefits of audio learning are that students may listen to their C.D whenever they choose. No need for lengthy note taking. Remember the mind only has the capacity to stay focused for a short length of time. Conventional law lectures are essential, however on occasion, the mind may wander and detract from the subject being taught. This is due to many lectures being far too long for the mind to stay focused leaving many students to 'fill in the gaps' themselves. We provide audio C.D’s tailored specifically to meet student requirements. The C.D’s provide a comprehensive account suitable for revision on any law module within the LLB (Hons) degree.

How to Successfully Pass a Law Exam - C D
‘How to Successfully Pass a Law Examination’ informs the student of a simple, effective method on how to successfully revise and prepare for law examinations. The method is proven to work. It allows the student to revise in a clear, concise manner and reduces feelings of stress and nervousness experienced by many when taking exams. Students who have used this method reported feeling calm, better prepared and confident when sitting their law examinations and achieved higher grades.

We offer various packages allowing the student to learn more effectively. There are 3 packages -Standard, Standard-Plus and Premium.
